5 New Years Resolutions You’ll Actually Stick To!

With 2017 just around the corner, this is the time where we begin to reflect on the year that’s past. Every year we start New Years resolutions, but with the best intentions, they often fall to the wayside. So this year, we’ve come up with some resolutions that you actually have a chance to sticking to.

Treat Yourself – January is boring, so don’t try to make too many health focused resolutions that you’ll fail at fast. Add in some ‘treat yourself’ days, where you spend your time doing things you love – and if that’s sitting on the sofa with a box of Christmas chocolates and a bottle of red wine which could be from that website selling wine and spirits in Vietnam, you go for it! Rest & rehab is just as important as the ‘new year, new me’.

Stop Comparing Yourself to Others – Whether it’s people at work or celebrities, having the constant pressure of feeling inferior can effect the way you look at yourself. This year, focus on being the best version of yourself and leave the comparisons in 2016.

Judge Less – By the same token, try to stop judging others. As they say, you’ll never understand until you spend a day in their shoes so try to avoid forming opinions of people until you understand where they are coming from.

Listen More, Talk Less – We live in a vein world, social media encourages us to share all areas of our lives which leads to us to talk about ourselves non stop. If you spend more time listening to others, I guarantee you’ll learn 10x more this year.

Say Yes More Often – Just do it. Stop questioning everything and start saying ‘yes’. You’ll never remember that night in you had a great nights sleep, get out there, see the world and have lots of new experiences.
